Programs
Our programming responds to the increase of creative energies emerging in our region by creating imaginative experiences that engage the public and spark conversations about the relationship of the arts to the way we live our lives.
Site-Specific Installations & Exhibitions: Organized by selected curators or through a juried process, these include temporary environments, experiences and exhibitions.
Presentations: Talks, performances, film screenings, panel discussions, and other public presentations to engage a variety of audiences and pursue topics addressing cultural, esthetic, and/or social issues.
Resources for the Artists: Gatherings that provide information and tools useful for artists at every stage of their careers.
Open Studios – Organized visits to explore the private workspaces of the region’s artists. NFC Open Studios is an ongoing program that offers unique opportunities to experience the world of the region’s artists in an intimate and contextualized way – before their works are installed in galleries, museums, or in collector’s homes. Each Open Studio showcases the work of artists who generously invite us into their creative spaces to talk about their work followed by a gathering with all participants for conversation and refreshments.
NFC Editions – Program related catalogues or limited edition multiples that may be published for sale to help offset operational costs.
