The Artists:

Bill Albertini

Bill Albertini is an Irish born artist, he has an MFA in sculpture from Yale University and studied as an undergraduate in Ireland and England

Albertini currently lives and works in Mattituck and has exhibited regularly since 1986, his current and recent solo exhibitions include “Baroque-O-Vision Redux” at New Art Projects, London and Glen Hansen Studio Southold (2025 and 2023 respectively) , “Hands Off” (2022) at Theodore in New York, “Summer Catalog” (2019) at LMAK Gallery in New York and “Pipe Dream System” (2018) at Theodore in New York as well as a two person exhibition “Exceptional Objects” (2018) with Kate Greene at Grant Wahlquist Gallery in Portland Maine. In 2022 he had work on exhibit in “Digital Vision” at Grinnell College Museum of Art.

Bill Albertini has used the computer as part of his practice since the early ‘90s when he realized that a project he was working on that involved extensive use of photocopies would be easier if he learned how to manipulate images with graphics software. As a sculptor Albertini soon became intrigued by the possibilities offered by early 3D modeling applications and started incorporating them into his workflow. More recently the increased affordability of 3D printing and 3D printers over the last decade has enabled him to realize works that had previously been confined to the virtual.

Sylvia Cedeño   Sylvia Cedeño’s ceramics are the culmination of more than three decades in graphic and industrial design. In her ceramics, she continues a lifelong exploration of geometry, color and form. Cedeño, who was born in Venezuela, brings to her work a deep understanding of traditional materials and aesthetics from the indigenous and Afro Caribbean to the Spanish colonial and South American modernist. All pieces are made in her studio on the East End of Long Island.

Anne Sherwood Pundyk
Anne Sherwood Pundyk is a painter who brings together the traditions of abstract art, textiles and storytelling to create her fine art. Her unstretched paintings reach high and wide. Stained sections of drop cloth canvas dangle telltale threads from their seems. Irregular downpours of color buckle the patched surfaces. Crip colored-pencil lines float amongst radiant circles and stripes. Together they test the roiling flows. She trades experimental methods between her intimate works on stitched paper and the larger canvases. Activated by color, each painting ultimately has its own improvised story. Elements of her studio work link directly to her photographs, artist’s books, writing and performance pieces.
