Through March 29, 2026

The sixth annual MLK Portrait Project is on view at Greenport’s Floyd Memorial Library until March 29. The exhibition features large-scale (48 x 48″) mosaic portraits of civil rights leaders by students at Long Island high schools. These works are accompanied by materials (bios, bibliographies, books!) that describe each subject’s important, often pioneering, role in their field and within the civil rights movement.
