North Fork Contemporary is a presenting/artist services organization built on the belief that art is integral to life.

We affirm that anyone who experiences art may discover new possibilities for themselves, their community, and a rapidly changing world.

Our mission is to educate, inspire, and enrich the artistic experiences of residents and visitors to Long Island’s North Fork. Through programs designed to support and create opportunities for artists and audiences, we aim to make the transformational powers of contemporary art, design, and ideas accessible to all.

We believe that freedom of expression, equity, compassion, and the advancement of a sustainable world is critical to creativity and that remaining open and uncertain regarding outcomes creates a supportive environment for innovation and discovery.

While we take risks with our programming, we remain accountable for our finances and operations and collaborate with our colleagues, peers, and partners to support and facilitate creative practices in the belief that artists are important not only to shaping society but to the continuing evolution of humankind.
